We are getting down to the last few 1320 items in stock, so bid to win. You are bidding on a NEW old stock 1320 1/24th scale replica of the Art Malone U.S.1 top fuel dragster. This car is 1320 item # 1306 and is the 6th car of The Digger's series. The serial number of this dragster is # 116 (wow, what a low number). The front engine dragster was done by 1320 in 2007 and I think it was the last car made by 1320. The U.S.1 Top Fueler was driven by Art Malone and the car was fielded out of the East and he became the first Easterner to win the U.S. Fuel and Gas Championships in Bakersfield, CA. in 63. Art and "Big Daddy " had a good relationship and worked together on several cars.. The car has a red, white, and blue paint job with gold leaf graphics, the body work covers the cockpit area and forward. The Digger series car's are from earlier years when the wheelbase was much shorter than the Fueler car's. Super detail on this car. The car has never been displayed and is mint just as it came from the factory, the box is mint also. This car is getting very hard to find in this condition. Includes info. card (in picture).
