Limited edition of 103 made.Chase Elliott’s No. 9 NAPA Chevrolet will morph into an on-track tribute to his Hendrick Motorsports teammate and seven-time NASCAR Cup Series™ champion Jimmie Johnson during the Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway. Johnson, who will be retiring from full-time NASCAR Cup Series compeititon at the end of the 2020 season, has been more than just a teammate to Elliott. He has also been a role model for the Georgia driver. In honor of all of Johnson’s accomplishments, Elliott’s Darlington livery will turn back the clock by re-creating the iconic look from Johnson’s 2009 championship season.
